New work sent in by Paul Dersidan, graphic designer based in Bucharest. This is his vinyl record design for Yvat’s soon to be released Unfolded:

“It’s a vinyl sleeve for the latest album of electronic music artist Yvat, which will be released by Boltfish Records UK the 29th of April.

The whole design concept was meant to contrast the heavy yet simple sound of the album.

I therefore illustrated the roughness of the sound by using neutral typography. And I chose to play with the album title “Unfolded” and blended the appeasing blue color into a minimalist design to illustrate the sound’s simpleness.”

Christopher Muccioli is pursuing a BFA in graphic design from Maryland Institute College of Art: ”The task was to capture the essence of a Latino culture, with the target market being artsy Latino / Americans looking for a hip and edgy boutique cologne. I took inspiration from the sport of Spanish Bullfighting.”
